How does RankLadder ask for a Google review?+
Select eligible saved customers in Reviews, or send a request from a customer conversation. Requests require review consent and verified texting permission. Supported connected apps can also trigger a request after a verified completion event, either automatically or held for your approval.
Does the customer have to agree to receive a text?+
Yes. Review requests require written consent to review texts as well as verified verbal texting permission from a recorded call. Customers who opted out cannot receive a request.
Can I import a list of past customers?+
External list imports and cold outreach are not supported. You can select saved customers, including past customers, when the required review consent and texting permission are already recorded. A completed job is not required for a request you choose to send.
Can I only ask happy customers for reviews?+
No. Every customer you ask receives the same Google review link. RankLadder does not hide the link based on whether you expect a positive or negative review.
Does RankLadder reply to reviews automatically?+
No. RankLadder drafts a reply in your voice, but nothing posts until you review and approve it. You can edit the draft or write your own response instead.
Are Google review tools included on every plan?+
Yes. Google review requests and AI-drafted replies are included on Starter, Pro, and Scale. Review requests use the texting allowance already included with your plan.
What do I need to connect before I start?+
Connect the Google Business Profile for your business. RankLadder then uses that profile for direct review links and brings new reviews into the reviews area for you to manage.
